{"id":319,"date":"2011-06-15T17:31:50","date_gmt":"2011-06-16T05:01:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lauracesari.com\/blog\/?p=319"},"modified":"2014-03-02T21:39:10","modified_gmt":"2014-03-02T21:39:10","slug":"live-drawing-in-coppercat-video-metalsome","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lauracesari.com\/blog\/live-drawing-in-coppercat-video-metalsome\/","title":{"rendered":"Live Drawing in Coppercat Video &#8211; MetalSome"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here&#8217;s me drawing decorative cats in an impromptu music video: &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/TuddScLn31s\" target=\"_blank\">MetalSome<\/a>&#8221; by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.coppercat.net\" target=\"_blank\">Coppercat<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll admit I had the easy part: Jeremy Richardson aka <a href=\"http:\/\/www.coppercat.net\" target=\"_blank\">Coppercat<\/a> is doing live audio production, solving 2 Rubik&#8217;s cubes, herding cats, and shooting the video footage.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m drawing spontaneously, in charcoal, which is good and messy, and allows for drawing high-contrast images quickly without a lot of pressure and repetition.  In my decorative animal drawings, I like to incorporate deco styles from all over the world.
